Our signature vegan silk is spun from TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres, sustainably harvested from eucalyptus trees. The wood pulp is treated in a closed-loop system, wherein ninety-nine
percent of the water and solvent used in production is recovered and reused, again and again. This extends the lifecycle of our resources and eliminates environmental waste.

The smooth, luxe finish of touché vegan silk reduces creasing in the skin during sleep, helping to prevent the development of wrinkles over time, plus it prevents friction as you move in your sleep, reducing frizz and tangles in hair. touché vegan silk is naturally hypoallergenic and hygienic, as the fibres of the vegan silk pillowcases and sheets are resistant to build up of mould,
bacteria and dust mites.

Our vegan silk feels luxuriously soft with a sleek, shiny sheen. The fabric is smooth and gentle, perfect for blissful moments of beauty rest.

We only use safe, non-toxic chemicals in the production of our fabric. We avoid using catalytic agents that create strong odour. Due to the nature of the material, bleach is never required in processing.

We use non-toxic, eco-friendly AVITERA® reactive dyes. The dyes drastically reduce water and energy use by up to half. In addition, the dyes adhere to the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZHDC) Group's manufacturing restricted substances list.

touché vegan silk is unscented. The production process utilises the wood pulp from the eucalyptus, and does not leave oil remnants from the leaves. This ensures a non-irritating, hypoallergenic finish.

The eucalyptus fibres used to produce our fabric are ethically and sustainably grown by Austrian textile company Lenzing AG. The fabric is woven and sewn in China. We made a commitment to work only with cut and sew factories that were certified by globally recognised ethical third party auditors including BSCI, WRAP and SEDEX.

The trees used to create touché vegan silk are sourced from a sustainable farm dedicated to
this renewable practice. For every tree cut down, more trees are planted in replacement. This takes the burden off natural forests and prevents harm to the environment.

Peace silk (also known as non-violent silk or Ahimsa silk) refers to silk produced from cocoons after moths have naturally emerged. However, there are no certification authorities for peace silk, thus no third parties to ensure these standards are upheld. The safest way to ensure your silk products are cruelty-free is by purchasing eucalyptus-based vegan silk.

The eucalyptus trees used to produce our vegan silk are not harvested from natural bush land.
Instead, our eucalyptus is sustainably sourced from renewable farms, grown by the leading global supplier of sustainably produced fibres in Austria. Therefore, this process does not affect the natural habitat of koalas in any
way.

Wash your bedding in cold water on a gentle cycle. Use a mild (preferably biodegradable) detergent to avoid damage and wear to the fabric. Wash separate from other laundry to avoid damage. Avoid bleach. Fabric softener is not necessary, as touché vegan silk becomes softer with each wash. Let bedding dry naturally to preserve fibres and colour. If needed, tumble dry gently on low heat.

As eucalyptus is naturally anti-bacterial, you do not need to wash your bedding as often as other fabrics. We recommend washing every 10-14 days for best results.

Unlike many types of bedding that are made with toxic solvents and chemicals, it is not necessary to wash your touché products before use. However, it is up to your preference.

Our eucalyptus silk is wrinkle resistant. However, if the occasional wrinkle does appear, we recommend using a steamer. Alternatively, iron on low heat.
